The operation of buses using vaults for receipt of fare payments reduces the need for drivers to handle cash, speeds up the boarding of passengers and maximizes the amount of cash collected. The depot process involves the identification of the vaults used on an operational day to the correct buses, which then can be matched to the ETM data and driver adjustments.
