We are an independent operational audit company specialising in the passenger transport industry. Operational Audits, BSOG Certification, Concessionary Travel , and Computer Software are our main areas of expertise.

E P Morris & Company Limited was established in 1987 by the Group Internal Audit Department on the dissolution of the National Bus Company for privatisation. As an operational audit based company, our expertise has been developed to maximise/protect the major revenue flows - on-bus electronic ticket machine revenue, Bus Service Operators Grant (BSOG), and off-bus ticketing; in addition to the more conventional aspects of audit check on expenditure.

Our client base is varied, including the five largest bus operating groups in the UK (Arriva, First Group, Go Ahead, National Express and Stagecoach) as well as many independent operators.

After 20 successful years we have four main activities:

• Operational Audit - Outsourced audit department for one Plc and 'ad hoc' for the other major groups.
  
  
• BSOG (Bus Service Operators Grant) Certification - Advisors to operators representing over two thirds of the DfT expenditure.
  
  
• Concessionary Travel - Advisors/Negotiators for bus operators and sponsoring authorities.
  
  
• Computer Software - Specialist applications for the bus industry.

The company employs over 20 staff, including 7 programmers who work as a team to install and support the products. The four senior auditors are also involved in the specification of systems, testing, development and installation/training. This ensures that the systems are based on practical reality for depot and Head Office use. We currently have systems in daily operation at over 200 sites.
